What you will be Doing:

  • Operating and maintaining compressor stations, involving electrical and mechanical problems.
  • Monitoring and completing routine inspections on the compressors’ operational systems (e.g., compressor units, inline heaters, dehydration units, instrument gas/air, fuel gas, filters, cooling water, pumps, VRU’s, etc.)
  • Performing or assisting in all phases of construction, start-up, operation, and maintenance of equipment within gas compressor stations.
  • Operating compressor to assist others in troubleshooting and repairing unit problems.
  • Operating/maintaining high pressure lift gas systems.
  • Completing all required paperwork associated with these duties.
  • Maintaining safe operation of equipment and safety of crew as a top priority. 

Your Skills and Qualifications:

  • High school education or equivalent.
  • Must have strong mechanical and/or electronic aptitude.
  • Must possess a valid Driver’s License and clean abstract.
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50lbs.
  • Work environment may include moving mechanical parts, fumes, toxic chemicals, airborne particles and moderate to loud noise, requiring consistent use of appropriate PPE.
  • Able to work in an environment where noise level is moderate to loud.
  • Able and willing to be on call nights, weeks, and holidays.
  • Ability to work an 8/6 schedule.
