Job Description
This role will focus on SCADA Hive strategy and operations across North America.
As Vice President of Operations SCADA Hive, you will work with the Executive Team in developing the strategy and be responsible for implementation across all SCADA Hive functions.
You will evaluate established policies, procedures, processes, and KPI’s modifying as necessary while instilling a culture of “Continuous Improvement” within the team.
You will be accountable for profit and loss performance, efficiency of operations, and implementation of cost-effective systems to meet current and future operational performance and financial goals.
You will be a leader and supporter of safe work operations.
You will work as part of the SCADA Hive leadership team and be responsible for living our core values and promoting our culture through example and communication.
Key Responsibilities
Work with the Executive Team to develop the short-, mid-, and long-term SCADA Hive strategy.
Implement an operational plan to achieve the strategic vision of SCADA Hive.
Develops and monitors short-term and long-term operational plans, budgets, and KPI’s while ensuring operational performance consistent with those plans and objectives.
Maintains knowledge of emerging technologies and trends in operations management.
Establishes and maintains a culture of teamwork while ensuring team members have the necessary technical acumen, core values, and personality traits.
Collaborates with the Executive Leadership and peer leaders in the creation of a 1/3/5-year strategy for SCADA Hive and the Crimson Enterprises Group of Companies.
Collaborate with Business Development team to identify new opportunities, emerging industry needs, and to develop key client relationships.
Ensure all administrative, safety, environmental, and training needs for the division are complying and being followed.
- Identify, recommend, and implement new processes, technologies, and systems to improve and streamline organizational processes and use of resources and materials.
Abilities, Experience, and Qualifications
~10 years of experience in progressively more senior leadership roles with strong business acumen.
Relevant academic background, such as an Engineering degree is preferred and/or a Technology Diploma/Trade Certification in Instrumentation, Electrical, or Electronics.
Familiarity and hands-on experience with Automation Solutions, SCADA, and Control Systems Design is essential; knowledge of other areas is highly desirable.
A practical, ‘can do’ attitude and ability to produce quick solutions is essential.
Proven expertise in leading significant organizational transformation initiatives with superior change management
leadership skills.
